This jacket is commanding.

I’ve always loved the idea of belting a mens coat above the waist, and seeing it here in high fashion AFTER seeing it on the streets just shows the influence street style has.

By far the best look of the season. Not only is the graphic print stretched across the chest but extends to the arms; really making a statement. I love the fact that the neck is closed all the way to the top; it gives it a futuristic look and feel. Bravo.

Hyper-Tailored Monster [Alexander McQueen]

Sarah Burton’s menswear line had a direful vibe that almost resembled something from American Horror Story. The pinstripes and plastic mask had me wanting more. I loved the print she used mixing both sleek vintage with art-deco vibes. Brilliant. 

Hats Off To The House [John Galliano]

As Mr. Galliano himself made news this week for his invitation to Oscar de la Renta’s NY studio for a cozy stay; the house has been working hard redeeming its image. Here’s a small recap of the “over-sized” hat trend they sent out.

The trends are out for spring 2013, and it seems like Gold is in for the win!

Its a great color that can take any outfit from plain to classy in seconds. Gold is always a great way to go and I’m glad its hitting menswear. I’ve been buying a lot of gold jewelry lately and now I’m on the search for a gold blazer! If you guys know where I can get one let me know!
